Investing in the South

An increasing number of companies are innovating and building new partnerships in poor countries. They are thus making an important contribution to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. Social Responsibility is a core issue in both this process and the development of the companies themselves. A symposium was organized by AFD and IMS-Entreprendre pour la cité in Bercy on 9 and 10 December 2008 to highlight these trends and to identify and extend potential partnerships.
