The PRCC seeks to promote exchanges between developing countries, in particular the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), and their integration into the world trade system.
More specifically, the PRCC aims to support any type of project which builds trade capacity for exports:
>> by helping countries to better assimilate the rules governing international trade and to comply with them
>> by supporting public and private stakeholders who contribute to better integration in terms of trade

The PRCC is a program which offers both:
>> institutional assistance to public bodies in defining trade policies
>> the funding of trade capacity building on the ground
The uniqueness of the program also lies in
>> the priority which it gives to ensuring that government policy complements the other projects of sponsors and NGOs
>> a wide range of formats for assistance and potential means of support
