Fight against fraud and corruption
AFD makes it a principle to require that the beneficiaries of its financing – Owners and the recipients of the contracts it finances – comply with the strictest ethical standards in the selection of contract recipients and during the implementation of the said contracts.
In application of this principle, and following its own investigations and conclusions conducted in line with its procedures, should it be established that the contract award process that it finances has been subject to acts of corruption, fraudulent operations, collusive or coercive practices, AFD will take all appropriate measures.
