Procedure envisaged
In the framework of project preparation, the Owner prepares and submits to AFD for approval a procurement plan that is acceptable to AFD.
This plan specifies:
(i) the contracts for the goods, works and/or services that are required for the implementation of the project during the initial period of a minimum of 18 months,
(ii) and the methods proposed for the procurement and awarding of these contracts. It is updated every year or, where required, while the project is active. The Owner must implement the procurement programme in the manner that has been approved by AFD.
