AFD and PROPARCO in MED-ALLIA Forum in Cairo

     Minister of Foreign  Trade  and  Industry,  and  Mr. Thomas 
     Eloy, future regional  representative  of  PROPARCO in the
     Middle East.

AFD and its subsidiary dedicated to the private sector PROPARCO presented their financial instruments to Med-Allia Forum, which was held from December 6th to December 8th 2009 in Cairo. MED-ALLIA Cairo 2009 is a multisector forum that aims at developing commercial exchanges and partnerships between French and Egyptian companies as well as with enterprises of the Mediterranean (Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey).

 
PROPARCO already invested in four private companies in Egypt. It will open in Cairo, during the first semester of 2010, a regional office for its activities in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Autonomous Palestinian Territories and Yemen.
