Individuals, fraudulently using the identity and logo of Agence Française de Développement (AFD), are currently sending e-mail messages claiming to be from AFD, describing the range of financing offered by AFD and asking the e-mail recipient to contact AFD via a fictitious e-mail address in order to have details about this financing.

This message is fraudulent. It has not been sent by AFD, which never proceeds in this manner. Under no circumstances should you reply. If you receive this type of fraudulent e-mail, please immediately inform AFD by e-mail at the address .

Other email messages claiming to be sent by Agence Française de Développement and aiming to obtain money and information are currently circulating. It is a case of fraud and identity theft. AFD has taken all the necessary steps to promptly put an end to these unlawful actions.

These messages mention AFD project audits or funding commitments in order to obtain application fees. The contact information given for AFD is false and the projects do not, of course, exist.

Under no circumstances should you reply to these messages and, especially, give any information to the authors of these messages. If you receive this type of email:

  • please forward it to the following address:  then delete it,
  • do not reply to the email,
  • do not click on any links in the email,
  • never give any of your access codes or any other information.
