PRCC projects follow the standard stages of the AFD project cycle, outlined in the accompanying diagram.

However, the phase of identifying PRCC projects comprises some specific elements related to :

  • The fact that the PRCC is co-funded by AFD and the DGTPE (the Economic Policy Department)
  • The fields in which the PRCC operates: aid for trade and support for the private sector are the principles which underpin all AFD-sponsored projects
