AFD’s activity provides two types of business opportunities: contracts awarded by the beneficiaries of its financing in its different intervention countries and AFD’s procurement for its own account.
Tender notices for AFD-financed projects are published and can be consulted on the AFD/dgMarket website.

  • Contracts awarded abroad under AFD-financed projects

    Contracts are awarded for works, supplies and intellectual services in the framework of the implementation of AFD-financed projects. These contracts are awarded via a bidding process, which is under the sole responsibility of the project owner (the beneficiary of the financial support), in compliance with the regulations which are applicable to it and in line with international good practices.

  • AFD’s procurement for its own account

    AFD conducts procurement for its own account (supplies, computer equipment, consultancy contracts….). This procurement comes under French regulations.

  • Procurement notices

    In order to open to competition and be completely transparent, AFD and dgMarket are working in partnership to provide direct access to information on AFD-financed contracts and allow interested providers to consult the tender notices free of charge (calls for expressions of interest, tender notices…).
