AFD’s intervention in Cambodia hinges on the dual problematic of improving both the quality and financial accessibility of public health services.

AFD interventions target capacity building for Ministry of Health priority areas such as hospital reform, training for paramedical staff and AIDS.

Moreover, the threat of the outbreak of respiratory diseases led to the implementation of a regional intervention in the framework of support from the Instituts Pasteur, particularly by partially financing the setting-up of a P3 laboratory in Cambodia.
