Laurent DURIEZ, is AFD Group Director for Turkey. Agricultural engineer and graduate of the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises de Lille, he joined PROPARCO in 1990, AFD's subsidiary in charge of the private sector after some years in the banking sector.

He has acquired operational experience serving in different countries (Kenya, Ghana) and joined in Washington, to the administrator of France as a Senior Advisor at the IMF and World Bank.

Before joining to Turkey, he was responsible of the strategic management team at the AFD's Strategy Division.

 

Laurent KLEIN, is deputy head of the AFD Istanbul office since September 2008 in charge of the banking & financial sector as well as private sector activities. He joined the AFD Group in 1997 and since then held several positions in Paris and abroad, both at AFD and at Proparco, AFD’s private sector subsidiary.

For his previous position, Laurent spent 4 years in Johannesburg where he was heading Proparco’s representative office for Southern Africa. Before joining the AFD Group, he worked for the French bank Crédit d’Equipement des PME (now named Oséo) in Paris where he was in charge of corporate finance transactions.

He holds an Engineering degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) and a Master’s degree in project management and international finance (MIAI).

 

David WILLECOMME is responsible for the local division within the agency in Istanbul which he joined in September 2010.
He implements the strategy of the AFD group in terms of financial assistance to local public bodies within the framework of sustainable urban development strengthening.


He graduated with a Master in Finance and a Master in Public Management and after working in the field of French local authorities, he held various responsibilities within the AFD since 1999. He has been serving in Mamoudzou and Noumea agencies, then to the headquarters of AFD as a desk officer for overseas territories and most recently as project manager in the division of local authorities and urban development.

 

 

Mara YAGAN, Investment Officer for Municipal Projects

Mara holds a Master’s Degree of Management from the EDHEC Business School (France).

After a first experience as a consultant for Deloitte Office in Paris in the Financial Risk Management department, she joined the Istanbul Office in July 2008 as Investment Officer responsible for the municipal sector projects.

She is fluent in English, French, German and Turkish. 


Ceyda CESUR, Investment Officer Banking and Private Sector

Ceyda received her Master’s Degree in Financial Markets and Corporate Finance from Paris1-Panthéon Sorbonne University.

Ceyda joint AFD Istanbul office in February 2009, as a project officer in banking and private sector. Prior to joining AFD, she worked as financial analyst in the research department of Y.F.Securities. Her subject of intersts include especially; SME finance and Corporate Social Responsability (CSR).

Ceyda speaks fluently Turkish, French and English.

  
Eda BAŞGÜL, Investment Officer for Climate Change Activities

Eda holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Foreign Action from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

After working three years in private sector as Business Development Manager with international scope, she joined AFD’s Istanbul office in January 2011 as an Investment Officer. She is in charge of public sector activities related to climate change topic in Turkey.

She is fluent in Turkish, French and English.


Morgane Nicol, Investment Officer Banks and Private Sector

Morgane holds a Master’s Degree of Management and an Msc Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School (France).

Morgane joined AFD Istanbul office in February 2011, as Investment Officer Banks and Private Sector specialized in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Prior to joining AFD, Morgane worked for Crédit Agricole CIB in the Coverage department in Paris. She also realized different consultancy missions in microfinance and carbon finance for NGOs in Benin, Ivory Coast, Bolivia and Cambodia.

She speaks English, French, German and Spanish.


Aysun DALGIÇER, Investment Officer's Assistant for Municipalities / Banking and Private Sector

She studied law at the University of Paris 8.

She joined the agency in Istanbul in December 2009 as a project assistant in the areas of municipalities and private sector / banks. Prior to joining AFD, Aysun worked as a paralegal in a firm of international lawyers in Istanbul.

She speaks fluent Turkish, French and Kazakh. 

 

Gül YÜCER, Responsible for general management and the accounting the rep office

She joined AFD in February 2009 as responsible for general management and the accounting the rep office.

She earned a degree in French Philology (French language et litterature) in Istanbul.

She speaks Turkish and French.

 

 

Kristin KÖPRÜLÜYAN, Executive assistant

She earned a degree in French teaching from Istanbul University.

She has previously worked for 9 years in the tourism industry and joined AFD in July 2007 as a Personal Assistant.

Kristin speaks English, Turkish and Armenian. 

 

  Fatih GÜNGÖRER, Driver

Fatih joined AFD in September 2005.

He has held several different driver positions for various companies in Istanbul.
