CEROM : Comptes économiques rapides pour l’Outre-mer
AFD, INSEE (France’s National Statistics Office) and IEDOM (Overseas France note-issuing bank) observed that the economic and financial information systems of France’s Overseas Regions were being underused and, consequently, in 2003 established an inter-institutional partnership named CEROM. The three main objectives for this collaboration were: to establish rapid economic accounts (estimation of N-1 and N-2 accounts), to model recent changes in the economy through synthetic conjunctural indicators and to regularly produce macroeconomic publications on the economy of French Overseas Departments.
For more information on the CEROM partnership and to consult the publications, please visit the CEROM website.
