What can we say today of this mechanism for reducing emissions linked to deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) given the turn taken by the preparatory phase? What environmental perspectives it seems to offer tropical forests?

These are the questions arisen in this book, based on the specific case of Mexico, which is among the countries most involved in this phase of preparation for REDD +.
