Anna LIPCHITZ

Career

  • Anna Lipchitz is an agro-economist. On taking her degree in 2002 at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie in Rennes, she received an international award from the German Agriculture Society. She began her career at the Ministry for the Economy, in the General Directorate for the Treasury and Economic Policy, where she served as a task officer in the Environment and Agriculture office and subsequently as an economist in the Multilateral Affairs and Development Department. On joining AFD in September 2006, she was assigned responsibility for matters relating to trade and agriculture. She is now Deputy Financial Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York. She is in charge of development  funds and programmes, more specifically of UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA.
