Overview of our whole portfolio since 1994

Vietnam is a strategic partner for France and is one of the main recipients of AFD financing with more than one billion euros allocated since 1994. AFD has a whole host of activities in Vietnam which range from support for small private companies and the financial sector to basic infrastructure, agriculture and food security.

AFD has financed 43 projects in Vietnam since 1994.

In April 2011 our cumulative net commitments amounted to 1078 million euros and our cumulative net outstanding amounts stood at 550 million euros. Today we have an annual target of 479 million euros in loans.

This financing is managed by our 4 units:
