The international community will be gathering at the 8th World Water Forum in Brasilia (18 - 23 March 2018) to discuss water, a vital resource. The situation is urgent: over 2 billion men, women and children have limited access to drinking water and 4.5 billion do not have toilets connected to wastewater treatment systems. This stark reality poses a collective challenge. Access to drinking water and sanitation services for all is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be reached by 2030. Achieving this requires developing affordable, permanent and sustainable solutions. In a world experiencing the upheavals of climate change, we need to take action now and collectively.
