10 years of AFD in India: an exhibition to celebrate a meaningful partnership

Celebrating 10 years of partnership between India and AFD, the exhibition ‘A World in Common’ highlights their collaboration on projects that promote sustainability in all its dimensions – social, economic and environmental.
From boosting urban dynamism in Kochi to protecting the incredible biodiversity of Assam, through illuminating Jodhpur’s streets and harnessing the power of the sun and the wind, the stories presented in the exhibition showcase positive solutions that benefit the people as well as their environment.
Since 2008, AFD has worked closely with its Indian partners on projects focusing on sustainable and integrated urban development, energy efficiency and renewable energy development and the protection of biodiversity and natural resources.
The travelling exhibition has been shown in Pondicherry and Kochi and is now presented in Delhi, capital city of India, on the occasion of the International Solar Alliance and the visit of French President Mr Emmanuel Macron to India.
