Farmers' organisations, partners for a just and sustainable transition of agricultural and food systems

At the end of the "Planet" cycle of the three COPs, AFD wishes to reiterate the importance of supporting farmers' organizations (FOs) to strengthen food sovereignty, create jobs and added value in rural areas, contribute to the adaptation of agriculture to climate change, preserve biodiversity and fight against desertification and land degradation.

AFD Group partner of the Paris Peace Forum 2024

The Paris Peace Forum is the place where Heads of State and international organizations work with civil society and the private sector to build new forms of collective action to better manage global common goods, particularly in a post-Covid world. AFD Group, a partner since the first edition, will be speaking on the role of Paris Strategy in multilateralism and sustainable development, the financing of agriculture in Africa, the governance of AI and the private sector's commitment to nutrition.
