Le Social & inclusive business camp 2022 se tiendra à Marseille
For the next four weeks, until June 26, some 40 entrepreneurs in Africa will be chosen to take part in a business camp that will help launch their company, build their capacities and provide an opportunity for networking. It’s part of the Social & Inclusive Business Camp (SIBC) with AFD Campus.

Registration is now open for the Social & Inclusive Business Camp (SIBC) to take place in Marseille. It’s the sixth edition of this capacity-building program designed for entrepreneurs whose business project is making an impact on development in Africa. Selected projects will be placed on a customized coaching program, to be held between September and November 2022.

Supported by AFD Campus, the SIBC supports projects with a proven positive track record, such as businesses that contribute to social or environmental progress, or which serve vulnerable groups (women, people with disabilities, refugees), whether as customers, distributors, suppliers or employees.

Through a targeted program that includes coaching, training, mentoring and networking, this specialized “boot camp” prepares entrepreneurs to scale their business up to the next level.

The support programme includes:

  • 3 months of remote coaching with international experts and learning resources
  • 1 week of intensive Bootcamp in Marseille, France
  • The possibility to be followed by a mentor, an experienced alumni of the programme
  • Networking with an international community of 240 entrepreneurs and investors

The program aimes to improve governance and management, prepare entrepreneurs to scale up their activities, assess financial risks, and identify fundraising tools and techniques.

Since its launch in 2017, SIBC has supported nearly 240 entrepreneurs in the rolling out of businesses with a positive impact on development in Africa.
