Overview

Maxime Terrieux is an economist in the team in charge of assessing country risks and sovereign risks in countries where AFD is working.

As a country risk economist, Vincent Joguet contributes through his publications to shed light on the economic trajectories of the countries in which AFD operates. These analyses are based on a close follow-up over a long period and anchored in a fine knowledge of local contexts.

Vincent Joguet joined AFD in 2008 as Head of Publications in the Communication Unit. He later transitioned to the Operations Directorate, working as an economist in the Overseas Department, before taking on the role of Head of the Public Sector Division in AFD's French Polynesia office. Subsequently, he served as Deputy Director in charge of the energy portfolio at AFD's office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Prior to joining AFD, he worked as a communication specialist and economic journalist for various newspapers in France and Senegal.

Vincent Joguet holds a DESS in Economic Analysis of Development from the University of Paris-X-Nanterre, where he studied under the direction of Philippe Hugon. He also gained experience as a researcher in economics in Benin.
