The South African town of Bredsdorp, in the southern tip of the country, is rife with unemployment and drug use among young people. After graduating from high school, 22-year-old Bianca has been unable to find a job related to her field of studies. When Waves for Changed launched an app that enables young people to earn money by organising sports and leisure activities in the town, Bianca jumped at the opportunity. She began organising daily soccer sessions with kids aged 8 to 12 and immediately started earning money. Thanks to her sessions, kids are off the streets, are kept busy and active, while finding a person to look up to in Bianca.
