
Audrey Guiral-Naepels
Overview
Audrey Guiral-Naepels was appointed Head of the Urban Development, Planning and Housing Division at Agence Française de Développement on July 11, 2024. Her mission is to coordinate AFD's action in favor of the development of sustainable cities resilient to climate change and their access to financing to accelerate adaptation, as well as in the fields of access to housing, heritage preservation and improved solid waste management.
A geographer and graduate of Sciences Po and the Institut Français de Géopolitique, Audrey Guiral-Naepels has been working in the field of urban development for 20 years, specializing in urban renewal and housing, with a particular focus on Africa, France and the French overseas territories.
Prior to joining AFD in 2012, Audrey Guiral-Naepels worked for the SNCF Group on land development, real estate projects and social housing renovation. Prior to this, she worked for the Egis group, advising local authorities on Ecoquartiers and urban renewal projects.
