Laurent Biddiscombe is Executive Director for SDGs at Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
He is in charge of AFD Economy and Sustainable Finance Practice. He started his career at Société Générale as an Inspector and then held different positions within AFD’s local offices (Senegal, New Caledonia), before joining the Financial Institutions team which he headed. He was recently Deputy CEO of Banque Socredo, French Polynesia largest bank and a 35% subsidiary from AFD. He graduated from French business school ESSEC (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales).
