The Funding Facility for Local Authorities (FICOL) is a financing tool and springboard for the international actions of French local authorities. Since 2014, AFD has been financing development projects shaped and implemented by French local authorities in the framework of their international partnerships.

Its objectives? Support the local development of overseas authorities, support French local authorities in their actions abroad, promote French solutions and expertise as well as the best environmental and social practices.
