A major player on the international scene, Turkey has experienced rapid development and transformation in recent decades, creating new opportunities, but also great imbalances. Its challenge today is to combine rapid growth with fair and sustainable development. Its relations with France are old and diversified, while the interdependence is strong between Europe and Turkey.

AFD Group and its local partners are working for more balanced, qualitative and sustainable growth, and a transition to a more low-carbon economy. The search for shared interests between France and Turkey (exchange of know-how), mitigation and adaptation to climate change and equality between women and men constitute the basis of all the projects carried out in Turkey.
