Our Strategy

The world is facing unprecedented challenges in a context of increasing geopolitical tensions. AFD Group is adapting to this new environment. Its Strategy 2025-2030 reflects its dual mandate to fight poverty and inequality and preserve common goods using socially responsible and sustainable investments in the least developed and vulnerable countries, in middle-income countries, and in the French Overseas Territories. This strategy falls within the framework set by the Paris Agreement on climate and the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The overall aims of this strategy are to further build stakeholder capacity, drive the development of ambitious public policies, and help transform the international financial system. AFD Group also works to convince citizens of the importance and usefulness of socially responsible and sustainable international cooperation. 

The Strategy 2025-2030 is structured around four commitments: to keep AFD Group’s promise, to work alongside others, to ensure 100% SDG quality and impact, and to become a mobilization platform.
