Professional experience
Julien Seillan started his professional career in 2003, participating in humanitarian aid projects in Kivu, Ituri and Katanga, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After working in the social sector, he moved on to human resource management posts in NGOs.
He joined AFD in 2013, first as HR Manager for Africa, and then as Careers and Recruitment Manager. He was appointed Executive Director of Human Resources in 2022.
Julien Seillan holds an honours degree in History from Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne, a Master's degree from Université de Lyon II, and a Master's in Management Science/HR from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
