Centre de santé, Liban
The Lebanese healthcare system is under severe strain, prompting AFD to intervene through the Minka Peace and Resilience fund, to ensure the provision of quality and sustainable care. The project will support the care of Lebanese and refugee populations in 10 primary health care centers across the country's eight governorates.

The project, financed by AFD to the tune of 12 million project since 2020 is being implemented by a consortium of NGOs represented by Première Urgence Internationale, with the support of Médecins du Monde and Amel International, in collaboration with Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health.

The project aims to improve access to primary health care for 200,000 vulnerable people and to support the centers’ efforts to improve the quality of services and consolidate inter-community social cohesion.
