In 2023, AFD Group exceeded its objectives, with its financing activity exceeding €13 billion.
Moreover, the Group's two subsidiaries achieved historic results last year, with Proparco signing some €2 billion in projects, and Expertise France, whose activity has tripled since 2015, with almost €600 million in signatures.
Close to two-thirds of projects signed contribute to gender equality, and €7.5 billion were committed by the Group for the climate in 2023 - an increase of 25% on the previous year.
In an often tumultuous international context, the Group is nevertheless determined to play, with its partners, a leading role in the search for innovative and inclusive solutions, to move closer to achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
