Bringing communities together through sport in Kosovo's schools

Violent conflicts that struck the Western Balkans in the 1990s altered the bonds between different communities in the region.

AFD and its partners are working together to reset this bond through sport, with young peoples. PLAY International has set up several projects to create more resilience between children and teachers in Kosovo, using innovative and inclusive teaching methods.

As part of this AFD-funded project, PLAY International is partnering with two CSOs, Regional Sport Initiative - Playing Together (REGSPO) and Together Advancing Common Trust (TAKT). We visited one of the schools participating in this intiative, in Kosovo's capital, Pristina.
