Overview
Dominique Heurtevent graduated from Science Po Paris. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from ENS Cachan. She started her career in 2001 working on projects in the social sector, first at the French Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire, then with French NGOs, including Médecins du Monde and Samusocial International.
She joined AFD in 2007 to work on strategy and partnerships, then three years later was appointed as an economist covering the Asia region. In 2015, she joined the Risks department and became Director for Operational Risks and Internal Control in 2018. She was appointed Risks Executive Director in 2022.
