Professional experience
Dominique Heurtevent started her career in 2001 by working on social-sector projects, first in the French Embassy in Ivory Coast, then with French NGOs such as Doctors of the World and the Samusocial International.
In 2007, she joined AFD (French Development Agency) to work on strategy and partnerships, then in 2010 she served as Economist in the Asia Department. In 2015 she joined the Risks Executive Direction and became Director for Operational Risks and Internal Control in 2018. She was appointed Risks Executive Director in 2022.
She holds a degree from Science-Po Paris, a Master in development economics and a diploma of social sciences from ENS Cachan.
