Forging long-term academia partnerships between Africa and France, based on mutually beneficial relationships and knowledge- and experience-sharing, this is the ambition of the Academia Partnerships Africa-France programme (PeA). To do so, it is supporting projects jointly led by African and French higher education institutions, working to set up professional training programs across the continent to develop the skills needed for the sustainable development of countries.
PeA is financed by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs via the Agence Française de Développement (AFD). The programme is implemented with support from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research by the Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR – French National Research Agency) and Campus France.
