Vietnam is often presented as one of the countries that are the most vulnerable to climate change, especially in the low-lying and densely populated Mekong River Delta.

What is the exposure of the country to climate change impacts at horizon 2050 ? Are there other major environmental challenges threatening sustainability? What kind of adaptation and mitigation strategies could be implemented to help drive the environmental and socio-economic dynamics in a sustainable direction ? These questions have been investigated within the framework of the GEMMES research project over the past 3 years.

This webinar will highlight the main final results of the project, which are presented in two reports released at COP27 in Egypt.
