What is meant by middle classes? What are the socio-economic characteristics that distinguish this population group? Should there be policies to support the middle class?

In order to contribute to research and advance the understanding of the middle classes, the main conclusions drawn from the studies conducted, with a quantitative-qualitative methodology, in Ghana and Argentina will be presented.

Two countries, two continents, with a very different relationship to the "middle class", however, there are some similarities. Can conclusions in terms of public policies be drawn to consolidate the middle class?
