Ten years after the Addis Ababa Conferenceand the historic climate agreement signed at COP21 in Paris, the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) will be held, under the aegis of the United Nations. Running from June 30th to July 3rd, 2025 at the FIBES Convention Center in Seville, Spain, this event aims to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 and strengthen international cooperation. In this context, the AFD Group will express its commitment through various speeches. The conference: why and how?
The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) represents a decisive step towards accelerating implementation of the 2030 Agenda and supporting reform of the international financial architecture.
Organized under the aegis of the United Nations and convened approximately every ten years, this conference brings together, at an exceptional level, heads of state and government, international and regional organizations, financial and trade institutions, business, civil society and UN system entities.
By strengthening international cooperation, FfD4 will play a central role in shaping the global development financing agenda and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Group AFD Programming:
The program is structured around four days of plenary sessions, breakout sessions, working sessions and side events to address international challenges in sustainable development financing.
