AFD Group & World Bank Group Partnership Impact Update

The AFD Group and World Bank Group (WBG) have built innovative and impactful partnerships that catalyze finance, analytics, and technical services at global, regional, and country levels.

Recognizing the importance of mobilizing all available resources to scale up development financing for countries in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the objectives of the Paris Agreement, they have delivered a total of over $30 billion in projects that have been parallel financed and co-financed, including $20 billion since the signing of the groundbreaking AFD-IBRD/IDA Co-financing Framework Agreement (CFA) in 2018.
