Global waste is growing exponentially. This is partially due to population growth, but also to changing consumption patterns… In developing countries, local authorities are struggling to cope because they lack means. As a result there are more and more unauthorized dumps, causing pollution and diseases. However, some solutions exist to tackle household waste management and processing.
