This annual event aims to foster collaboration on Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy between Africa and Europe, to understand best practices, to bring together leaders in Tech-Policy from both continents and to build alliances between Africa and Europe. Last year, the Africa Law Tech Festival brought together over 7,500 law and technology professionals, playing a key role in driving technological innovation with the development of regulatory frameworks in Africa.
This year, the Festival is organised around the "Africa-Europe Artificial Intelligence Policy Dialogue". To this end, expert conferences will be organised from 2 to 16 June 2022 in several major cities in Africa and Europe, from Nairobi to Geneva and Paris. This dialogue will attempt to federate visions around the democratic practices and economic issues associated with artificial intelligence.
Join us on 14 June for the conference organized by AFD and the Africa Lawyers Hub on the theme "Economic development, digital trade and democracy in the age of artificial intelligence".
