Inequalities and environmental changes in the Mekong region

A just transition in South-East Asia implies considering social and environmental dynamics together. This webinar will present a collective book that opens up a complete new field while at the same time testifying to the vitality of research collaborations between France and the countries of the Mekong region.

This book has been shaped and written by various contributors who all work on research across the Mekong region. It has been part of the research program “Inequality and Environmental Changes Nexus in the Mekong region” (2019–2021) funded by the European Facility for a research program on Inequalities in Developing and Emerging Countries, coordinated by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) (French Development Agency).
