The project led by the Fundación Bien Humano aims to contribute to the reduction of gender gaps in Colombia.
The project led by the Fundación Bien Humano aims to contribute to the reduction of gender gaps by fostering the acknowledgement, reduction of time and redistribution of unpaid care work and the promotion of women's economic empowerment in the targeted territories of the department of Antioquia.
Descriptive

This project aims to raise awareness and acknowledgement of the sexual division of labor and its relationship with the violence that women have experienced, such as the control of their bodies and sexuality, the restrictions and dispossession of their patrimony, the social and economic devaluation of domestic work and the systematic restriction of access to material resources, which hinder their economic autonomy. Through a set of pedagogical and communication activities, opportunity-generating actions and a strategy of social and political advocacy, the project goal is to contribute to the closure of gender gaps in the targeted territories of Antioquia, by achieving redistribution of unpaid care work in the home and the promotion of women's economic empowerment.
