How does AFD work with CSOs?

Over the past fifteen years, AFD has considerably broadened its methods of collaboration with CSOs, both in terms of financing projects and activities and in terms of producing knowledge or mobilizing expertise. Nicolas Le Guen, head of the CSO division, recalls the key role of CSOs in achieving the SDGs and the relevance of their action for AFD, and discusses certain received ideas that can die hard.
