Transport & Mobility – 2024 Activity Report

The mobility of people and goods is an essential condition for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

There has been progress, but gaps remain on climate and sustainability issues. The sector generates 22% of global CO2 emissions and remains highly dependent on fossil fuels. Resilience and adaptation continue to pose major challenges, making its transition crucial in tackling climate change (SDG 13).
In 2024, €1.1 BN has been approved for transport and mobility in 2024.
