AdaptAction - Phase 1: Lessons Learned

In 2017, AFD launched the AdaptAction programme to support 15 countries and regional organisations in implementing the Paris Agreement and to catalyse investments on climate adaptation.. 

The phase 1, conducted from 2017 to 2022, mobilized more than 500 experts in more than 75 projects.

This review, drawing on a 2021 assessment conducted by Iram and Ramboll, summarises the main lessons learned from the programme’s Phase 1 and its related feedbacks for Phase 2.
