AFD Group and Ukraine

Since 2006, AFD Group through Expertise France and Proparco has been having a long-standing presence in Ukraine to support justice reform, governance and private sector development. In response to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, AFD Group fully mobilized its capabilities in 2022 to respond to the emergency situation. In 2024, AFD opened its office in Kyiv. 

AFD Group aims to become a sustainable partner for Ukrainian development actors in the public and private spheres, contributing to the country’s resilience and its movement towards European convergence.
