AFD Group and Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a Central Asian country with fertile valleys, deserts and mediumsized mountains, and a dynamic economy. It faces great challenges to ensure sustainable growth, benefiting the entire population, while limiting its impact on the climate. Since 2015, the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Group has been supporting the country in this direction, through projects in the fields of economic and climate governance, urban development, energy transition, sustainable land management and support for the economic fabric.
