E-motion aims at accelerating electric vehicle deployment and enable a large-scale regional transition towards electro-mobility in seven Latin Americans countries – Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Peru. 

The programme will provides technical assistance to create a policy and business framework conducive for sustainable mobility and massive deployment of electric vehicles, financial support to foster public transport mode shift and for the deployment of electric vehicule fleets.

The programme will be implemented by AFD (public projects), Proparco (private projects) and by GIZ (technical assistance). It is co-financed by the Green Climate Fund.
