AFD Group's Annual Report is now online in English. The dynamic, interactive format brings to life the activities, investments and projects financed by Agence Française de Développement in 2020. The Report complements our other publications, which shed light on the work we have done over the past year, including the Group's assessment reports and Proparco’s report on sustainable development. The online document is a must-read!
AFD Group's 2020 annual report is now available, and is exclusively online for the first time. It chronicles an extraordinary year, characterized by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the robust response to the emergency, waged by AFD and its partners, working around the developing world.
Facing challenges of an unprecedented scale, AFD was able to respond to the immediate needs of its beneficiaries, partners and clients in the face of widespread health, social and economic crises. But our short-term work has not compromised the Group's long-term mission, which is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.
AFD Group's annual report is composed of three main sections - Strategy, Results and Action. Its final section links to close to a hundred articles on emblematic projects carried out in 2020 by AFD and Proparco, its subsidiary dedicated to the private sector.
The Group Results – a brochure of facts and figures – is also available in French and English. In addition, the more compact 2020 Annual Results, containing the essentials has been published in both languages.
This makes for a thorough collection of data, commentary and context, all presented in clear and accessible formats.
