Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation (MoiC), in collaboration with the French Development Agency, released a 60 seconds short visual film celebrating Fourteen years of AFD-Egypt partnership and its impact on the country development.

The short film “Ambition” comes under the Ministry’s Global Partnerships Narrative “People & Projects & Purpose” as explained by Minister of International Cooperation, H.E Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, and highlighted by the film in a creative and modern style.  

The cooperation portofolio between Egypt and France since 2006  covers diversified sectors including transport and electricity, housing, sanitation, health, agriculture, small and medium enterprises, environment, basic and technical education sectors, in coherence with the 17 sustainable development goals key driver to generate sustained and inclusive growth in a rapidly changing world.

AFD Egypt Office’s director, Dr Fabio Grazi, recalled that “Mainstreaming sustainable development goals into Egypt’s economic planning and policy for the wellbeing of the Egyptian people requires participation of all stakeholders: public authorities, private sector investors, banking institutions. MoIC and AFD have been partnering since 2006 and will continue to proceed hand in hand to promote a new sustainable prosperity in Egypt.”
