2050 Facility

Low-carbon, resilient development, in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, is inconceivable unless we design long-term trajectories for an economic, social, technological and institutional transformation.

It is in this perspective, and in accordance with France’s commitments at the One Planet Summit in December 2017, that AFD created the 2050 Facility: a grant program supporting some 30 developing countries, particularly the most vulnerable and those that emit the most.
