Improving agricultural production and preserving ecosystems are two major challenges for sustainable development of rural areas. AFD finances development programs and projects and supports its partner countries in forging and implementing their public policies. To promote sustainable agriculture and the preservation of land and marine biodiversity, we have adopted an integrated territorial approach that takes into account the impacts of climate change.
