In 2024, AFD Group reached a new milestone with the decision to align 100% of its operations with the goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. AFD Group is stepping up to help meet the global target of halting and reversing biodiversity loss by 2030 and restoring healthy ecosystems by
2050.
In 2024, our nature-focused activities included € 1.2 Bn in financing committed by AFD Group in developing countries and in French Overseas Territories, accounting for 9% of the Group’s total commitments.
